Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage — work the same way for our purposes. This policy covers all of them.

• Authentication (essential). Supabase sets session cookies when you sign in so we know it’s you on your next request. These are necessary — without them, you’d have to re-authenticate on every page.
• Theme preference (functional). We store light/dark/system in browser storage so the app respects your choice across visits.
• Language preference (functional). Your locale (English, Hebrew, or whatever we add next) is remembered in a cookie read by the server for SSR.
• CSRF and security cookies (essential). Short- lived cookies that protect form submissions and auth flows against cross-site attacks.

BIG Tools does not currently use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.

If we enable product analytics or error-monitoring in the future, we’ll update this page and list what they do before turning them on. Any such tool would be used to understand aggregated usage patterns — not to build individual advertising profiles.

When you sign in with a third-party provider (for example, Google), that provider may set its own cookies as part of the sign-in flow. Those cookies are governed by the provider’s policy, not ours.

Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking essential cookies will break sign- in and parts of the app will stop working.

You can also delete your BIG Tools account from the settings area, which ends the session and removes your stored preferences along with your account data.

We’ll update this page as we change what we use. Material changes (like adding analytics) will be announced in-product before they go live.
